Marilyn Rodriguez Ballard, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a highly experienced, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over 20 years of clinical expertise to Coastal Health. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, with a strong focus on building lasting relationships and supporting the overall well-being of everyone she serves.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Marilyn worked as a Registered Nurse in critical care for more than 10 years. She has since gained experience in a wide range of healthcare settings, including primary care clinics, military health systems, substance abuse programs, and rehabilitation centers. She is passionate about health education, preventive care, and supporting patients with complex or chronic conditions.

Known for her collaborative approach and commitment to lifelong learning, she values teamwork and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Florida, her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University.
