As CEO of Coastal Health, a premier multi-specialty healthcare organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Christman brings extensive expertise and accomplishments from his previous roles. At Apex Healthcare Strategies in Bradenton, Florida, he served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing annual healthcare expenditures of over $720 million. Driving the success of the company under Christman’s leadership, Apex Healthcare Strategies, managed internal staff of 215+ and was responsible for financial budget management and healthcare focused business strategy. He has a proven track record in optimizing revenue cycles and day-to-day operations for more than 500 independent practices over the last 20 years, implementing efficient practice management systems and EMR configurations, legal and regulatory compliance, and public relations and branding.

Christman offers additional expertise in billing and payor relations. His role as the Area Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at ZirMed in Louisville, Kentucky further showcased his mastery in medical billing and revenue cycle management becoming a subject-matter expert in an ever-changing healthcare marketplace. Christman also worked closely with the product development team to enhance ZirMed’s offerings and to provide consultative support to prospects, helping them understand and implement technology.

Gregg Taboh is an established figure in the interventional pain space, with more than two decades of experience. He serves currently as the Chief Operating Officer for Coastal Health, a premier multi-specialty healthcare organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.

Taboh began his career in the pharmacy arena and gradually expanded his knowledge across various service lines in the complex field of pain management. Throughout his professional journey, he played a key role in the strategic growth of different practices, which subsequently positioned them for successful partnerships with equity firms. His primary specialties include the development of central and dispensing pharmacies, laboratory structures, durable medical equipment, ambulatory surgery centers and clinical research.

Taboh prides himself on his ability to enhance culture within organizations and to drive strong relationships among providers and staff. His passion for building a great culture and cultivating trust among his teams is always a top priority. He understands the importance of fostering a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and productivity.

Prior to joining Coastal Health, Taboh served as Chief Operating Officer for a national spine and pain center, where he was responsible for 14+ ambulatory surgery centers, a national pharmacy, several toxicology laboratories, clinical research, and 60 medical facilities with an annual revenue of $200+ million.

Originally from New York, Taboh was born in Brooklyn and raised in Westchester. He currently resides in central Florida with his wife, daughter and two dogs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Hartford, Connecticut. Outside of work, he enjoys engaging in activities such as running, biking, and traveling with his family. The Taboh family is actively involved in multiple youth charity organizations, reflecting their commitment to philanthropy and community.

Jairo Brieva, M.D., serves as Chief Medical Officer for Coastal Health Primary Care, providing administrative and physician leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical care. In this role, he supports Coastal Health providers and staff by communicating clinical policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices that promote patient safety, effective treatment, and continuous quality improvement.

A board-certified family physician and seasoned healthcare leader, Dr. Brieva brings more than 34 years of clinical experience and 18 years in executive and administrative leadership roles. He is widely recognized for his ability to combine deep clinical expertise with strategic vision to elevate standards of patient care across organizations.

Dr. Brieva earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Libre in Cali, Colombia, and completed his Family Practice residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, and the Duval County Medical Society.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Brieva is well-positioned to serve diverse patient populations. At Coastal Health, he remains committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care while driving ongoing improvements in healthcare quality and outcomes.

William D. “Bill” King, C.P.A., serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Coastal Health. With a long career in healthcare finance and operations, King brings an in-depth background and a strategic vision to his role. King earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville and is a Certified Public Accountant.

At Coastal Health, King leverages his experience and expertise to assist with strategic business plan development, service line expansion, capital deployment, forecasting, programmatic development, oversight of expenses and contract negotiation. He also oversees the company’s revenue cycle, accounting, billing and quality departments, ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.

King began his career with Ahearn, Jasco & Company in Pompano Beach, Florida before founding Doctors Management as a CPA and business advisor for physicians in 1987. Later, as the owner, CEO and business advisor at Accountants and Business Advisors, LLC, he specialized in practice management, accounting and income tax minimization strategies for physicians.

King’s commitment to Coastal Health aligns with its mission to provide exceptional care through advanced treatments and a dedicated, highly trained staff, serving patients in clean and inviting medical centers. He is dedicated to meeting the needs of patients and providers, leading the financial sector of Coastal Health to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.

His interests include family activities, biking and avidly supporting the Florida Gators and all professional teams in Boston. King is married and has two children and several grandchildren.

Executive Vice President of Operations for Coastal Health Darryle Boyd has a nine-year tenure at Coastal Health and more than thirty years of dedication to healthcare. Starting as a respiratory therapist, his journey reflects a commitment to excellence, innovation and compassionate patient care. With key leadership roles in hospital systems, physician practices and healthcare organizations across Florida, Georgia and Alabama, Boyd’s strategic vision and management skills have optimized operational efficiencies and enhanced patient experiences. Deeply involved in the local community, Boyd demonstrates an unwavering dedication to improving patient care throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas. A devoted family man, he enjoys his 38-year marriage to his bride and spending time with his two children and two grandchildren. Boyd balances his professional achievements with his passion for sports and the outdoors as a competitive tennis player, avid golfer and supporter of the Florida Gators’ football team.
