Vikas V. Bhimani, M.D., M.S. is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician with more than five years of experience delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care across outpatient clinics, urgent care, and telehealth settings. He is committed to providing high‑quality, evidence‑based care with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and the long‑term management of chronic conditions. 

Dr. Bhimani completed his Family Medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center–Sinai‑Grace Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident and was recognized as Resident of the Year. He also holds a master’s degree in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University, giving him advanced expertise in clinical decision support, electronic health records, and value‑based care models. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Bhimani has cared for diverse patient populations, including veterans at the VA Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. His clinical interests include full‑spectrum primary care, chronic disease management, and office‑based procedures such as joint and trigger‑point injections, skin biopsies, laceration repair, and incision and drainage. 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bhimani has held leadership roles in residency education and health informatics, contributing to improved quality metrics and patient outcomes. He is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi, and conversational in Urdu, allowing him to connect with patients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Dr. Bhimani is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
