Breanna James

Breanna James, APRN, DNP, is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a focus on pediatric care and critical care settings. James has extensive experience in urgent and emergent pediatric care, including advanced clinical roles in high-pressure environments.

Breanna obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Jacksonville University, where she also earned a Post Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner. Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as an Associate of Arts in General Education
from Florida Community College of Jacksonville.

Licensed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Drug Enforcement Administration, Breanna holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Her career includes significant roles at the National Brain Injury Institute and Wolfson Children’s Hospital, where she specialized in pediatric care, including critical care and emergency settings. She has also worked in the Pediatric ICU, PRE-OP/PACU units, Pediatric ER, and NICU settings.

Outside of her professional life, Breanna enjoys “glamping” with her family in their camper, reading, and spending time with her two teenage daughters and her Labradoodle and Goldendoodle.
