Angela Adams, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is a distinguished family nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State College in Valdosta, Georgia and later earned her Masters of Nursing from Georgia Southern Univeristy, in Statesboro, Georgia.

Adams experience includes her early days as an intensive care nurse as well as her specialty work in neurology and hematology/oncology at institutions like the Mayo Clinic Health System. Before her current position, she practiced telemedicine, enhancing patient care through technology. Adams has contributed to nursing education as a practical nursing instructor and engaged in research projects aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Adams has played a role in developing patient education materials for oncology patients and coordinating rehabilitation programs for cancer survivors. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing and the Georgia Nurses Association.

Adams’ hobbies include herbalism, gardening, yoga, and spending quality time with her husband and children. As an herbalist, she and her family run a market farm growing a variety of plants, herbs, and vegetables to share with the local community and at nearby farmers’ markets.
