Allison Smith, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Coastal Health who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care across the lifespan. She is dedicated to building strong patient relationships and empowering individuals through education, collaboration, and personalized care.

Allison earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Chamberlain University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, graduating cum laude and earning recognition in Sigma Theta Tau and the Veterans Honor Society.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Allison gained diverse nursing experience across multiple high-acuity settings, including acute care, procedural care in the cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology, and oncology. Her background has provided her with a strong clinical foundation in managing complex patient conditions and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Allison is also a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served her country with a deployment to Iraq. Her military service reflects her commitment, discipline, and dedication to serving others.

She has a special passion for women’s health, veteran care, and caring for the senior population, with a focus on promoting wellness, preventive care, and long-term health outcomes.

Outside of her professional role, Allison is a devoted mother who enjoys traveling, learning French, and spending afternoons at the beach. She is also a proud pet owner to a toy poodle named Cocoa and a tabby cat named Prince.

Allison is committed to ensuring that each patient feels heard, supported, and actively involved in their healthcare journey.
