Courtney B. Walker is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Commander in the United States Navy Reserves Nurse Corps. With over 17 years of nursing experience across critical care, trauma care, anesthesia, and family practice, she brings a wealth of clinical expertise to her patients and military leadership roles.

Courtney earned her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of North Florida. She also holds dual bachelor’s degrees in nursing, Political Science, and Philosophy.

Her career includes extensive service as a critical care nurse in both military and civilian hospitals. Currently, she practices in family medicine while serving as the Navy Reserves Trauma Nurse Core Course Program Manager.

Courtney has been recognized with multiple military awards in her Navy Reserve career. She is known for her dedication to patient-centered care, her leadership in trauma and critical care training, her commitment to advancing medicine through education and mentorship and her passion for health and fitness.

Courtney is honored to be serving the same community that helped to raise her. Outside of work and military duties, Courtney enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, family, friends and two labrador retrievers.
