James Fetchero, D.O., is a seasoned family medicine practitioner with a career spanning more than three decades. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Dr. Fetchero completed an internship at Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Board certified by the American Board of Family Practitioners, Dr. Fetchero’s affiliations include memberships with the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the National Osteoporosis Foundation. Notably, he has taken on leadership roles, serving as an officer, vice president, secretary and treasurer of the Florida Osteopathic Medicine Association (FOMA) District. Additionally, he has contributed to the healthcare community as a FOMA Trustee and Florida Delegate to the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Fetchero’s commitment to service includes serving in the military at Pensacola Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, completing his residency in family practice. Following his residency, he continued his service as a Staff Family Practitioner at Patuxent Naval Hospital in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Since 1992, Dr. Fetchero has been caring for patients in his community as a valuable member of Coastal Health Primary Care.
