Katy Lopez, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated family nurse practitioner who brings more than 13 years of hospital experience to her role at Coastal Health. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Jacksonville University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. 

Before becoming an advanced practice provider, Katy built a strong clinical foundation serving in progressive leadership roles including emergency department supervisor and clinical lead specialist. Her extensive background in emergency medicine and primary care allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan, with an emphasis on chronic disease management and preventive health. 

Katy is fluent in Spanish and passionate about delivering culturally competent care to diverse communities. Her doctoral project on fall prevention in the emergency department demonstrated her dedication to evidence-based practice and quality improvement. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to lifelong learning.
